In Q&A with Olivia Barket (Grace Yuh, OCP Blog Post, May 26, 2020), Olivia Barket, JD ’20, highlights the key role CAP’s Child Advocacy Clinic played in her legal education. Through her placement with the Juvenile Unit of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and the Clinic’s classroom seminar component, Olivia gained a deeper understanding of the complexities of the juvenile justice system and the variety of roles advocacy can take both inside and outside of the courtroom.
