CAP Faculty Director Elizabeth Bartholet was featured in the Boston Globe article, “DCF’s Records Hold Tragic Legacy,” published September 19, 2015, and written by Jenifer B. McKim of the New England Center for Investigative Reporting. The article was part of McKim’s deep investigation into the rise of child abuse and neglect deaths in Massachusetts. Following publication of McKim’s investigation, and on the heels of the recent revelation that Bella Bond, a child found dead this summer, had been under DCF supervision, Bartholet was interviewed by a series of media outlets to discuss the handling of child abuse and neglect cases in Massachusetts and across the country.
